Neil Nitin Mukesh Roped In For Bhandarkar’s ‘Jail’

Neil Nitin Mukesh’s debut movie ‘Johnny Gaddar’ may not set box office on Neil Nitin Mukeshfire but his brilliant acting skills got rave reviews both by the critics and masses.

And this time, ace Bollywood director Madhur Bhandarkar has signed up ‘Neil’ for his next movie ‘Jail.’

Madhur will start work on ‘Jail’ after his upcoming film ‘Fashion’ hits the theater screens.

The movie ‘Jail’ will be a two-hour-long thriller produced jointly by Madhur Bhandarkar and Percept Pictures.

The film is based on Indian jails. The director thinks that a prison story has gone unexplored in Bollywood until now.

Bhandarkar said, “It’ll be in the thriller format. I’ve been mulling the subject right from the time I made Chandni Bar. Now I've completely revamped the film. I always want to go into genres that are new for me and for the audience.”

A lot of speculation is doing the rounds regarding the movie. A few say the film is about a young man, who is imprisoned while his case is still in the courts and others say the movie revolves around under trials.

However, Bhandarkar did not divulge anything about ‘Jail’.

Besides acting, Neil would also be making his singing debut in director Jehangir Surti’s ‘Freeze.’ Not only that, Neil also plans to compose the songs that he will be singing with some help from music director Pritam.
