MJ impersonator planning First Australian ‘Neverland’

Melbourne, July 28 : An Aussie impersonator of Michael Jackson and one of the late King of Pop's fans are in talks to convert a suburban property into Australia's first `Neverland', which will be called `Foreverland'.

Jason Jackson, 35, who does not want to be referred to by his birth surname Zamprogno, is brainstorming design concepts with Georges Hall's Stephen Prince, 36.

Prince is a promotions manager in the entertainment industry and an enormous Jacko fan.

He has said that he and Jason, whose suburban home features a concrete menagerie, will turn a 201ha Southern Highlands property into `Foreverland'.

It would be a youth respite facility modelled on Michael Jackson's former Santa Barbara ranch, with a garden memorial and shrine to the King of Pop.

Inside the estate, a restaurant/reception, indoor pool, amusement rides, and private railway, train and station are being planned.

Jason, who has his own Michael Jackson tribute show, would perform monthly at the "stage and theatre complex".

"I certainly will speak to Jason privately regarding being an ambassador for Foreverland," Whereilive. com. au quoted Prince as saying.

Moved by the `Thriller' star's death last month, he bought the picturesque block near Bundanoon in 2000 with the project specifically in mind, he said.

"Now that Michael has passed, all my time and health are going into this project," he said.

Jason said he was "sceptical" when Prince approached him with the project.

"(But) I feel very confident now (that) this guy knows what he's talking about," said Jason. (ANI)
