The Indian division of luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz has announced the launch of iSales app to allow tech savvy customers in the country with a unique experience.
All sales consultants of Mercedes-Benz India will be equipped with Apple iPad tablets containing the innovative iSales app, which will allow potential buyers to have a virtual access to Mercedes-Benz cars.
Customers can view the car from a 360-degree angle. The app clearly shows the car's different features, such as customization of colours, equipment, interiors and accessories. Customers can even customize a car of their choice before booking it.
The main objective behind the launch the app is to connect with the evolving young tech savvy customers of Mercedes-Benz.
Speaking about the new app, Sales & Marketing Director Debashis Mitra said, "They [customers] can virtually experience the fascinating range of Mercedes-Benz cars and customize accordingly their choices before booking the car."
Mr. Mitra added that the app would also enable the company's customers to access Daimler Financial Services (DFS) options and also lease returns without any harassing paper work.
Mercedes-Benz India currently has dealership network in thirty-one cities and seventy-two touch points, and has plans to add fifteen new touch points every year.
