Marriage no 'golden ticket' for engaged Kate Hudson

kate hudsonWashington, Sept 16 Kate Hudson thinks it's not necessary for two people to get married as it's not a golden ticket to happiness.

The 35-year-old beauty, who's been engaged to rocker Matthew Bellamy for more than 3 years, told Women's Health magazine, that the long engagement didn't bother them as they knew they were committed and working towards it for as long as possible seemed "beautiful," People magazine reported.

The 'Bride Wars' star added that she knows it from her parents, Goldie Hawn and her longtime love, Kurt Russell, who aren't married, that wedding was only "piece of paper" demanding commitment.

Hudson said she makes it work with Bellamy, 36, despite the distance that generally comes between them by travelling with him, and having date nights, which includes everything "from a movie, to dinner, to not leaving our bed, to concerts." (ANI)
