With the intention to provide Travel Booking & ticketing over cell phones, Atom technologies, a major supplier of m-Commerce solutions, has signed up a partnership deal with MakeMyTrip, India's top online travel company.

Atom's mobile application will now facilitate users to hunt, book, pay and even receive their tickets on their cellular phones without paying any extra cost.

To allow the service, customers have to open atom application on their cellular phones using GPRS. The instructional menu appears on the screen permit customers to search, book and pay for their flight tickets.

The whole transaction is accomplished on the cell phone and an instant receipt is displayed for successful transaction. PNR/E-ticket is also sent via sms & email to the users.

MakeMyTrip would soon announce the recent service for their other range of products including Holiday Packages, Hotels, Domestic Bus booking & Private Car and Taxi Rentals.

Atom mobile application is an easy, safe, and dependable mode to make payments utilizing cellular phones. It permits customers to avail various services and purchase multiple products on a common platform.

All a client needs is a Java MIDP 2.0 enabled cell phone in order to install the atom application to avail the services provided by the mobile application platform.

Once the atom application gets downloaded on the customer's phone he/she can add upto 16 credits/debit/prepaid cards his/her phone. All dealings made using these cards are cleared by a PIN and encrypted 'end-to-end' that means the data is fully protected while it is relayed from the client to the bank server and back.

Atom's mobile application is convenient and easy to use, can be downloaded through multiple channels like SMS , WAP link , atom / merchant website etc., one just needs to have basic GPRS activated on phone.
