Kuala Lumpur, Dec. 20 : Jackie Chan is being probed by police for illegal possession of firearms, after he boasted about fighting off several gangsters with three pistols and six grenades.

According to Nanyang Siang Pau and Guang Ming Daily, the 58-year-old actor told a Chinese magazine that more than 20 dagger-wielding men cornered him once and he had to fend them off with the weapons, the Star Online reported.

According to a report by Makkal Osai, Japanese moviegoers love the 61-year-old actor's films and he is well known there through his earlier film `Muthu'.

`Robot' is a dubbed version of the Tamil movie titled `Endhiran'. It was simultaneously released in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil last year.

According to China Press, the film, 3-D ‘Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy’, has reportedly gathered in 40 million Hong Kong dollars (RM15.45mil) since its release in April, the Star Online reported.

The film, which defeated other Chinese movies with a list of A-class stars, is about a young scholar in feudal China who marries a great beauty but is unable to satisfy her in the bedroom.

Branson, 60, had lost a bet to AirAsia chief executive officer Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes and had been scheduled to serve as a “stewardess” on the AirAsia X flight from London to Kuala Lumpur on February 21.
