Won't do 'Munna Bhai' film without Sanjay: Arshad

Mumbai, May 18 : Actor Arshad Warsi, who played Circuit in the "Munna Bhai" films with Sanjay Dutt essaying the lead role, says he won't do any new film in the popular franchise without the real "Munna Bhai".
He says neither can he, nor will audiences be able to see anybody else in the role instead of Sanjay, who is currently in jail serving his sentence in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case.

Actor Arshad Warsi considers himself very lucky to be a part of the movie "Dedh Ishqiya".
"Back on the sets of 'Dedh Ishqiya' tomorrow, so very proud to be a part of this film," Arshad tweeted Friday.
On Saturday morning, he gave his fans an update on his schedule.

Looking at the excitement of Arsahd Warsi one can easily say that "Dedh Ishqiya" will be no less than dark drama "Ishqiya".
Arshad was part of "Ishqiya" and his performance was highly appreciated by the viewers along with Naseeruddin Shah and Vidya Balan.
Currently busy shooting for the last schedule of "Dedh Ishqiya", the 44-year-old tweeted: "Back on shoot for 'Dedh Ishqiya' from the day after, last 40 days and another awesome movie will be complete."

New Delhi, March 15 : Quite active on the big screen playing a variety of roles, Arshad Warsi is also keen to be seen on the small screen.
His "Jolly LLB" came out Friday while he has "Chambal Safari", "Dedh Isqiya" and "Joe B Carvalho" coming out in the future -- but he won't mind adding a TV project to his kitty.

Panaji, May 11 : After being caught by an anti-tobacco watchdog for smoking in a college campus in Goa, Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi has vowed not to smoke while making a public appearance.
In a letter to National Organisation for Tobacco Eradication (NOTE) General Secretary Shekhar Salkar dated May 10, Arshad has expressed regret about the incident earlier this month and has admitted that "fans follow their on-screen idols and copy their actions".
Arshad gets Rs.3 crore for 'Golmaal 3'

Mumbai, Feb 25 : Arshad Warsi has finally agreed to do "Golmaal 3" after the producers agreed to pay him a whopping Rs. 3 crore to be part of the film, sources said. The actor, however, did not confirm his consent for the film.
The deal was finally cut Monday, after frantic negotiations. Arshad's fee is higher than each member of the cast, barring Ajay Devgan. It is even higher than that of Kareena Kapoor who has a three-film deal with the producers.

Bollywood actors racially insulted in London

Basu and Warsi were shooting scenes for forthcoming movie Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal when the group passed racist remarks at them.
Warsi claims that the actors were "very shaken" by the incident that occurred in May (07).
