Washington, Feb. 27 : Anne Hathaway has apologized to Italian designer, Valentino, for switching his Oscar dress at the last minute for a Prada gown.

She told People magazine that it came to her attention late Saturday night that a dress would be worn to the Oscars, which was remarkably similar to the Valentino, which she had intended to wear, so she decided that for all involved it was best to change her plans.
