New Delhi, June 21 : Dhanuka Agritech Limited, an Indian agrochemical formulation company, has launched a series of TV commercials featuring megastar Amitabh Bachchan. He is seen as a rural man who guides farmers to use the right products on their crops.
A series of six commercials, created by PUSH Integrated, depicts the farmers' belief in astrologers and clairvoyants for predicting future cultivation and dependence on God for protecting their crops from destruction.
New Delhi, June 16 : The 2007 star-studded film 'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom' has completed its nine glorious years today and Amitabh Bachchan is taking a stroll down memory lane to celebrate it.

New Delhi, June 12 : Abhishek Bachchan has branded his father Amitabh Bachchan as a "magician" as he feels that Big B has outdone his past performances with 'TE3N.'
In a series of tweets, the 40-year-old actor wrote, "Just when you think that he cannot out do his last performance.... He does. @SrBachchan is a magician. #TE3N."

Kolkata, June 8 : Having worked both in celluloid and digital medium, megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Wednesday advocated preserving films for posterity by digitising them.
"We have forgotten and lost the word 'film'. There is no film, no celluloid. That's a huge change. Film was a very expensive commodity in my time so if there were retakes it was a huge pressure for us as well as for the producers.
"Now with digital, there is the freedom to take long shots. It gives you the liberty to shoot for several minutes at a time," Bachchan told media here when asked on the changes in cinema.
New Delhi, June 8 : The 1979 Hindi action comedy 'Mr. Natwarlal' has completed its glorious 37 years today and its lead actor Amitabh Bachchan takes a stroll down his memory lane to remember and celebrate it.
Celebrating the milestone, the 73-year-old veteran actor shared throwback pictures from his movie, writing, "T 2280 - 37 years ago .. 'Mr Natwarlal' released a day from today .. and in 3 days 'TE3N' to be released 10.06.2016."

Karachi, June 7 : Though he is the Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan feels Hollywood to be a huge threat to the Indian market.
Recently, during an interview with a leading newspaper, the 73-year-old actor said that wherever Hollywood industry has gone, "it has destroyed the local film industry," reports the Dawn.
"We have to fight them. This is competition. We know that Hollywood is very powerful. Wherever it has gone, it has destroyed the local film industry," he said.

Mumbai, June 4 : Megastar Amitabh Bachchan says he enjoys working with the new breed of actors and directors, and that he is amazed at how they can be "so perfect" in their first outing.
The 73-year-old said: "I am in so much admiration of this talent. I am amazed how they can be so perfect in their very first outing. I can't find any mistakes. I am still learning. I make so many mistakes, but these people are so good. I really love being with them and see them work and how they approach their work. They are every relaxed."

According to a leading daily, the 73-year-old actor will once again team up with director Aditya Chopra for the sequel to Aankhen (2002), but this time with a twist as he will be the bad guy.

Mumbai, June 3 : Director Ribhu Dasgupta's forthcoming thriller "TE3N" has been granted a U/A certificate without any cuts.
"'TE3N' gets a U/A with no cuts from the censor. But the board was so cool... Great group of people," the film's producer, Sujoy Ghosh, tweeted on Thursday night.
The film, which is set in Kolkata, features megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Releasing on June 10, "TE3N" will also see a special appearance by actress Vidya Balan as an investigative officer. IANS

Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan has had his share of detractors in his long cinematic career but the megastar says rather than shying away from criticism, he uses it to improve further.
"It (criticism) is important for us, it helps in improving yourself... I don't look at criticism as it is rubbish and not read it. I sometimes use it as an incentive," Bachchan said in an interview.
"So, when there is a critic, a write up or assessment of your work, it's wonderful to have another view point, you get a different perspective."
New Delhi, May 31 : The Bollywood film fraternity has expressed condolence at the sad demise of producer and well known trade analyst Vikas Mohan, who passed away this morning.
As per reports, Mohan had yesterday evening suffered a heart attack.

New Delhi, May 28 : Irrfan Khan-starrer upcoming social-thriller 'Madaari,' which was earlier scheduled to release on June 10 alongside Amitabh Bachchan's TE3N, will now hit the theartres on July 15.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to inform about the change in the release date and tweeted, "# Madaari will now release on 15 July 2016, instead of the earlier announced date 10 June 2016. Nishikant Kamat directs the film."
