Toronto, May 16 : After adapting Salman Rushdie's "Midnight's Children" for the big screen, Indo-Canadian filmmaker Deepa Mehta is working on a script based on Shilpi Somaya Gowda's novel "Secret Daughter" about how two families are bound by an adoption.
Mehta is said to be busy penning the script for producers Jody Colero of Silent Joe Inc. and Hussain Amarshi of Mongrel Media, reports hollywoodreporter. com.

Madrid, May 16 : Bobby Gillespie and Primal Scream are back with "More Light", a high-energy album that erases any doubts about the direction of the Scottish band's musical career.
"We wanted to do something that we had not done before," Gillespie said in an interview with EFE.

Chennai, May 16 : The teaser of Suriya-starrer Tamil action-drama "Singam 2" will hit the web Thursday evening.
"We will release the teaser online today (Thursday) at 5 p. m. Initially, we had plans to have an official launch, but we scrapped the idea later," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
"Singam 2" is directed by Hari Gopalakrishnan, who had also helmed the superhit prequel "Singam", which also featured Suriya.

Mumbai, May 15 : The Kashish Mumbai International Queer Film Festival is back with its fourth edition to encourage greater visibility of domestic and international queer cinema. It will screen as many as 132 movies.
The five-day event, starting May 22 at the Cinemax in Versova here, has a new theme "Towards Change" where forty countries, including Iran, Pakistan, Uganda and Serbia, will participate.
