Madrid, June 26 : The 2015 drama film 'Piku' indeed proved to be a milestone in Deepika Padukone's "already shining" career and something she will really be proud of for the rest of her life.

After winning the Best Actress award in the Female Lead for 'Piku' at IIFA 2016, the 30-year-old actress felt glad that she was part of the film and said, "I have travelled all over the world and have identified women everywhere and of all age group with ' Piku."

So it's nice to see your name nominated there so many times, but you win only for one. Either way I am happy," she said while interacting with the media at the post show press meet.

On being asked if he'd do a period drama, Sooraj said "I would do it but I would take some time because the dialogues would be difficult to learn. I would do it for sure but after few films."

While 'Bajirao Mastani' was the most celebrated film at this event, 'Piku' was not far behind.

Sonakshi Sinha, Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra and many more performed at the gala while Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar were hosting the show.

While speaking to the media at the IIFA 2016, the 42-year-old actor said, "I am very happy and delighted to tell you that it is one of his shortest films. You might feel it must be long because all his films are long, but it's really short."

Talking to the media at the IIFA 2016 green carpet in Madrid, the 60-year-old actor said, "There is a film of mine coming, which is called ' Badman' and I play the hero in that film."
