Washington, Nov 7 : Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that he loved donning a fake moustache for a TV role, because it made him feel like a ‘real man’.
The 18-year old star admitted his failed effort on growing his own whiskers for his role in British World War One TV drama ‘My Boy Jack’, and was thus forced to put on fake facial hair.
However, he said that besides feeling manly with the moustache, he also felt itchy because of it.
"It made me feel very manly but it itched like mad. Unfortunately I couldn't grow my own in time,” Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.
In the meantime the actor is getting set to make his Broadway debut with his highly acclaimed play Equus.
Radcliffe plays a disturbed youngster who blinds horses in Peter Shaffer's play, and hopes that it will be a hit on Broadway as it was at West End.
"If we can get a straight play to really succeed in a world of theatre that is so besieged by musicals, that would be a real achievement and I think the time is absolutely right to do it there," he said. (ANI)
