Washington, June 3 : Martin Scorsese is a frontrunner to depict Dame Elizabeth Taylor''s tempestuous relationship with Richard Burton in a new film.

According to Deadline. com, the deal is being finalized by Paramount Pictures to develop a project based on Sam Kashner and Nancy Schoenberger''s book ''Furious Love'', reports Contactmusic.

Amid all the buzz of who will play the leading roles of two of the biggest names in showbusiness, Welsh actor Michael Sheen can be seen as a frontrunner to play Burton, whereas Angelina Jolie is possibly going to be tipped to play British-American Taylor.

The movie will tell of the tale of the much controversial relationship between the pair, who first met on the set of 1963''s ''Cleopatra'' and married, and divorced, twice. However, they never recovered from their time together making it one of Hollywood''s best-known love stories. (ANI)
