Melbourne, May 22 : Lara Bingle and Michael Clarke broke up publicly two years ago but she has revealed that she still wears a ring in the finger which used to sport 200,000 dollars diamond ring given by the cricketer.

Extending her congratulations to ex-fiance on his marriage to Kyly Boldy, 24-year-old admitted that old habits die hard as she felt like it was only yesterday that they were due to marry.

When the couple split in 2010, Bingle was rumoured to have thrown the 4.7-carat sparkler down the toilet of their Bondi penthouse, a claim that was later denied by her agent.

The reality TV star on Monday admitted that she was stunned to hear that the Australian cricketer had tied the knot - but wished the couple all the best.

"My brother (Josh) is a real piss taker and I thought he was taking the piss. I was like; `You're joking,'" The Daily Telegraph quoted her as saying.

She shrugged off claims that Clarke had opted for a low-key ceremony in the Blue Mountains with Boldy to distance himself from his high-profile and often melodramatic romance with Bingle.

"We haven't been together for quite some time and people change," she said.

"With us it was a completely different scenario - we both wanted the same things and when you move on with another person maybe another person doesn't want that.

"So I think the way they did it was very smart. In the country is not really my thing but it looked amazing and they looked happy and she looked beautiful," she added. (ANI)
