London, May 28 : Cheryl Cole has apparently banned men from her life after being publicly betrayed by them.
In recent years, the 28-year-old has suffered the humiliation of being cheated on by her husband Ashley Cole and getting dumped from US X Factor by friend and mentor Simon Cowell.
According to the Daily Mail, she admitted that she prefers to surround herself with strong women.
Cheryl's recent confrontation with `So Solid Crew' star MC Harvey - who claimed that they had a fling - also helped to put her off the opposite sex.
"You know what? I don't know about feminism, but I may be a bit of a man hater," she told The Observer magazine.
"Sisterhood is important to me. Up until recently, every single person on my team was female. I was surrounded by females, and I found it very empowering. It's only us who know how each other feels. Men don't understand it," she said.
Close friend and manager Will. i. am is the only man who has been permitted into the singer's inner circle.
She revealed that the pair is so close, that they consider each other family and said that the most important thing to her right now is loyalty and having someone who won't judge her no matter what happens.
Meanwhile it has been claimed that Cheryl is still so bitter about former husband Ashley cheating on her that staff at BBC One show The Voice - where she performed on Saturday night - were prohibited from mentioning her surname.
"Her entourage made it clear that she must only be called Cheryl. We weren't to use surnames under any circumstances," a source said. (ANI)
