KEC International wins three orders worth Rs 470 crore

KEC-InternationalKEC International, one of the leading power transmission equipment companies in India, has received three orders worth Rs 470 crore from Middle East and Africa to design, engineer and supply power distribution equipment.

The company secured the first order, which is valued at Rs 300 crore from Saudi Electricity Company for the construction of a power transmission line in Riyadh.

Further, the company picked second order worth Rs 100 crore from ministry of water & electricity, Saudi Arabia for construction of a transmission line.

The third order was awarded to the company from Chad, Africa to supply power distribution equipment. The order was valued at Rs 70 crore.

The stock hit a low of Rs 588.05 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 108.65 on 10 December 2008.
