Melbourne, Nov 18 : Video games which allow teenagers to indulge in driving stunts are actually encouraging bad road behaviour in them, according to Aussie experts.
New South Wales acting Superintendent Dave Evans said that such videogames make adolescents think of themselves as invincible and many times the police is left with the responsibility to save P-platers from themselves.
The warnings supports experts and victims'' families’ opinion that the driver age limit should be at least 18.
The suggestion is followed by revelations that 104 P-platers are losing their licences each day.
Tehran - The Iranian parliament on Tuesday approved Sadeq Mahsouli, a former university lecturer, as interior minister, Tehran radio reported.
Mahsouli, 49, an ideological ally of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, received the support of 138 of the 273 deputies voting at the confirmation hearing, the report said.
Mahsouli is replacing Ali Kordan, who was dismissed by parliament last week for having presented the lawmakers a faked Oxford University honorary doctorate.

Kurkova, 24, who was modelling for the lingerie giant, stood out from among the 35 models in Miami, Florida, as she was the only one who did not have a cleft on her tummy.
“Her belly button is very smooth. But I can assure you she’s not an alien!” the Sun quoted Kurkova’s agent Karen Diamond as saying on November 17.
And even though there is no cleft, the model still looked charming.

New Delhi - Indian Finance Minister P Chidamabaram on Tuesday asked industry to cut prices and maintain production levels and said he was confident that the economy would bounce back in a year, news reports said.
"We will take steps to stimulate the domestic economy to compensate for the downside caused by the downturn in the world economy," Chidambaram said at the Davos-based World Economic Forum's India Economic Summit in New Delhi.
