Ford reveals pricing details for its latest two-series Ford Fiesta ST line-up

Ford reveals pricing details for its latest two-series Ford Fiesta ST line-up US automaker Ford has recently revealed the pricing details for its newest two-series Ford Fiesta ST line-up, which will not only boast the Fiesta's established sharp and fast chassis, but will also apparently be the fastest and the most powerful Fiesta model ever.

Equipped with a 1.6-litre EcoBoost, all-aluminium, four cylinder petrol engine, the Ford Fiesta ST will be capable of generating a useful 180bhp and 290Nm of torque, thanks largely to the engine's use of high pressure direct fuel injection and low inertia turbocharging.

Featuring pleasingly aggressive looks, the Fiesta ST will be able to achieve the 0-62mph acceleration in only 6.9 seconds; with its performance having been enhanced because of its unique suspension and steering tuning, along with an improved torque vectoring control system. In addition, the Fiesta ST will be capable of delivery a combined economy of 47.9mpg; producing CO2 emissions of only 138g/km.

The other distinguishing features which will give the Fiesta ST a notable edge over its other Fiesta counterparts include a magnificent black honeycomb trapezoidal front grille; a massive rear spoiler; and twin air vents alongside a double exhaust. The vehicle will also be available in a number of striking colour options, including spirit blue and molten orange.

Scheduled to hit the markets in March, the Ford Fiesta ST will be available in two trim levels; with the Fiesta ST model priced at £16,995, and the Fiesta ST2 costing £17,995 --- a price-tag which, according to Ford's claims, is up to nearly £2,000 less than some segment rivals.
