Melbourne, Sep 21 : David Hasselhoff has been rushed to hospital for a second time this year due to excessive drinking, according to reports.

TMZ has reported that his daughter, Hayley, called her mother, Pamela Bach, to tell her that the 57-year-old star was extremely drunk.

In May, Hasselhoff was hospitalised due to alcohol poisoning, registering a staggering .39 blood alcohol level after being taken to Cedars Sinai Medical centre by his ex-wife.

And this time, Paramedics took Hasselhoff from his Los Angeles home to hospital after one of Bach''s friends called 911.

A city official confirmed that an ambulance had gone to the residence.

"One city fire ambulance responded to an unknown medical emergency at 3:15 PM at Louise Street in Encino and transported one individual with an unknown illness to a local hospital," News. com. au quoted Los Angeles City Fire Department Bryan Humphries as telling RadarOnline. com. (ANI)
