New Delhi, Aug 8 : Defence Minister AK Antony on Saturday said that there is rise in infiltration from Pakistan.

"The cross-border infiltration from the western side had increased over the past few weeks," he said adding that "It is a worrying development."

In the recent past, army official have been saying that more and more militants are trying to infiltrate into the Kashmir Valley.

The statement came just days after nine militants including a Hizbul Mujahideen commander were killed during six separate encounters. (ANI)
