This is Veera's first film as an actor, but he does not have the jitters which every debutant experiences. This is precisely because of the fact that Veera is well acquainted with the nuances of the South Indian film industry, having served as the assistant to director Gautham Menon in several films. And it is in a Gautham Menon film that Veera will be debuting as an actor in South Indian filmdom. Titled `Nadunisi Naaygal', Veera's debut venture is a thriller which also stars Sameera Reddy.
Ask him about his experience on acting in a film which has Gautham Menon as director and Veera promptly replies that like always it has always been a pleasure working with such a dedicated person like his Sir. Well, Veera had more to say about Gautham Menon and revealed a secret that nobody was previously aware of. In a statement to the media, Veera said that Gautham Menon was not responsible for polishing his acting capabilities, rather it was the other way round! Explaining his statement, Veera says that director Gautham Menon had to explain each and every shot to the actor so many times, that it was actually the director's mannerisms which the actor followed while filming `Nadunisi Naaygal'.
Veera is very happy about the fact that he has been able to debut in a film which many actors are offered only after they have proved their worth in the industry. `Nadunisi Naaygal' tells the story about a psychopath character.
