Royal Enfield begins commercial production in Orgadam

Two-wheeler major, Royal Enfield has started commercial production of vehicles at its new manufacturing facility at Oragadam, near Chennai in Tamil Nadu.
The facility spreading across 50 acres, will have a production capacity of 1,50,000 units. The company began production at the facility, which uses state-of-the-art modular structure to produce one Royal Enfield a minute, on Tuesday, 30 April, 2013.

Premium two-wheeler manufacturer, Royal Enfield has indicated that it is considering launch a new 250 cc motorcycle in the Indian market.
The new model from the company might compete directly with the likes of Bajaj Avenger 220 DTS-i and Honda CBR250R in the Indian market. The new model might allow the company to tap into the sub-250 cc bike segment in the country by competing better with domestic as well as foreign rivals.

Iconic motorbike maker, Royal Enfield has released new models of the bikes for the modern customers with much quieter engines to compete better with the rivals in the market.
The company has replaced the old-fashioned iron engine with new engines offering improved makes acceleration, mileage and performance. The company offers the popular Bullet model but it also attracting customers with its new modern Classic series.
