Brit boxing champ blasts Jacko for using his fight as reason to let down fansLondon, May 23 : British boxing champ Amir Khan has knocked off claims suggesting that it was his show that has led to the postponement of the opening concerts of Michael Jackson's comeback tour.

Amir is set to attract a sell-out crowd at London's 20,00-seat capacity O2 arena when he contests Ukrainian Andreas Kotelnik for the WBA light-welterweight title on June 27.

And it was such apparent other shows that were partially blamed for the Jackson's first four dates to be rescheduled since the venue was unavailable for vital rehearsals, according to reports.

Olympic silver medallist Amir is now fuming over the reports, insisting the excuses to be baseless.

"Tell Michael if he wants to come to my trainer Freddie Roach's gym I'll show him what it takes to prepare and rehearse properly," the Sun quoted him as saying.

"I've always been a big fan of Michael Jackson but I was annoyed to read his comments.

"I'm annoyed he used my fight as the reason for letting down fans. Now it's up to me to light up the O2," he added. (ANI)
