Bomb scare affects trains services to HyderabadA report said that the bombs are being planted on the railway tracts connecting the city of Hyderabad. The bomb scare led to the disruption of train services and an elaborate search operation from the authorities.

The authorities decided to stop around 12 trains at various stations in Hyderabad and also stopped some trains from entering the city. A search operation was also launched on the rail entry points of the city.

The Telangana agitation has not calmed down over the past few months in and around the city. The violence has prompted the authorities to deploy thousands of security personnel in the region.

Osmania University students and Telangana Joint Action Committee has decided to take out a rally demanding a separate state of Telangana to the state Assembly on Saturday and the state government has deployed over
20,000 police personnel and virtually declared a curfew from 5 am to 6 pm on Saturday and effected massive traffic diversions.

The Osmania University students and Telangana Joint Action Committee made the decision on Friday night to begin the march from the Tarnaka campus to the Assembly at around 8 am. Some education institutions have decided to stay closed on the day.

The protestors have also threatened to strom the assembly to protest against the recommendations of the Srikrishna Committee.

The police have erected barricades around OU campus and various strategic locations in the city. The security near the Assembly has also been increased.
